The cookies this site sets, what each one does and how to change your choices.

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the D-Awards — Paris 2027 website uses, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. On each later request the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise the same visitor. Similar technologies — such as `localStorage` — do much the same job using a different part of your browser. Where this policy says "cookie", it covers both.
A first-party cookie is set by this website. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose code runs on the page.
2. Your choices
When the consent banner is active, non-essential cookies are set only after you agree. The banner groups cookies into four categories:
Strictly necessary — always on, and cannot be switched off. Without these the site cannot work securely.
Analytics — helps us understand how the site is used. Off by default.
Marketing — supports advertising and campaign measurement. Off by default.
Influencer referral — records that an influencer or partner referred you, so the right person is credited. On by default. It is first-party only: nothing is shared with an advertising network, and it does not build a profile of you. You can switch it off in the banner at any time.
Your choices are stored for 182 days, after which we ask again. We also ask again if this policy changes materially.
To change or withdraw your choices, use the Cookie settings link in the site footer. That link appears whenever the consent banner is active.
3. Cookies this site sets

4. Third-party cookies
Third-party analytics cookies are set only after you opt in. Measurement runs through a single tag-management container (Google Tag Manager). Today it carries one tag, Microsoft Clarity, which loads only after you accept the analytics category.
Tags load only through that container and only after you consent to the relevant category. Cookies you may see include:
`_ga`, `_gid` — Google Analytics, to distinguish visitors and sessions (analytics category)
`_clck`, `_clsk`, `CLID`, `MUID` — Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising, for usage insight and campaign measurement (analytics and marketing)
`_fbp` — Meta Pixel, for advertising measurement (marketing)
`_gcl_*` — Google Ads conversion measurement (marketing)
We will update this policy to list exactly what runs, with durations, before any of it is switched on — and we will raise the stored policy version so you are asked afresh rather than carried over on an earlier choice.
Separately, this site loads an anti-bot script from Cloudflare so the sign-up form can tell humans from bots. Cloudflare receives your IP address when that check runs.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, your browser lets you block or delete cookies. Look under Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge, or use that browser's private browsing mode.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site from working — the sign-up form in particular. Deleting your cookies also deletes your stored consent choices, so the banner will ask again on your next visit.
